Cameroon’s first participation in Miss Universe!

Cameroon will participate in the next contest of Miss Universe, which will occur at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, in Hollywood, in the United States of America, on May 16, 2021. A first that the Cameroonian nation owes to its candidate Angèle Kossinda, who managed to qualify for the final of this prestigious beauty contest that pits the most beautiful women in the world against each other.

This is the first time that a candidate of Cameroonian origin manages to reach the final phase of the world beauty contest, Miss Universe. Proudly wearing the colors of 237 in this 2021 edition of the said contest, Angèle Kossinda arrived in the United States very confident and full of energy with the firm intention of succeeding the South African Zozibini Tunzi, the Miss Universe 2019.

Although it is only her first participation, the Indomitable Lioness of beauty has real chances to win for her compatriots. She will be able to count on the numerous experiences that she did not cease to accumulate in the universe of beauty for some years.

Qualified for the great competition after having obtained the status of Miss Universe Cameroon 2021, Angèle Kossinda has an impressive record.

Indeed, first 3rd runner-up Miss Africa and then Miss Supranational Africa, the beautiful Cameroonian holder of a Master’s degree in finance management, has what it takes to stand up to other candidates, Sunday, in Hollywood.

Her goal is to raise awareness about forced marriages and female circumcision in the far North. Being herself the product of forced marriage, she wishes to spare others what her mother went through before giving birth to her at the age of 14.
