The bride-to-be visited her mother over there. The two flew back to Singapore on January 30th. They did not feel feverish but imposed a self-chosen quarantine of fourteen days to contain the risk of spreading. To call off their wedding party in the banquet hall of the Hotel M turned out to be almost impossible.

The guests arrived on Sunday as planned, but had to do without the guests of honor. Nevertheless, the newly married couple was somewhat present. They spoke to those present via live stream, which was shown on a giant screen in the hall. The couple was sitting in a hotel room on a higher floor. The bride was wearing her wedding dress for the occasion. The parents of the groom were also in the place.

For the rest, the party went like an ordinary wedding party. A master of ceremonies introduced the speeches of friends and raised the glass in honor of the marriages. According to the media, the groom looked back with satisfaction, given the circumstances.
