FIFA Ranking after World cup: Discover the place of African countries

FIFA has published this Thursday its first ranking since the World Cup and the new calculation mode.

At the world level, the World Cup weighs all its weight since the now ex-German leader drops to 15th place, leaving his throne to the French world champion!

On the African side, there are fewer changes since the top trio with Tunisia ahead of Senegal and the DRC remains unchanged. On the other hand, Egypt is paying for its chaotic World Cup and falling 20 places, the worst performance of the month at the world level.

The lions thus occupy the second place of the African ranking and 20th at the world level. Aliou Cisse’s colts are eliminated at the World Cup in the first round. Senegal beat Poland (2-1), draw against Japan (2-2) and was beaten by Colombia (1-0).

Here is the top 10 African:

Tunisia (24)

Senegal (24)

Ghana (45)

Morocco (46)

Cameroon (47)

Nigeria (49)

Burkina Faso (52)
