Former Nissan CEO arrested again

Japan’s prosecutors have re-arrested cases of Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn today. According to local media, Ghosn has been arrested for violating trust, with aggravating circumstances.

A Japanese judge yesterday rejected a request from the prosecutors to extend the pre-trial order of Ghosn. This cleared the way that he would be released on bail today.

Under the new charge Ghosn could be detained for up to 10 days according to local media. The Frenchman has been stuck on suspicion of tax fraud as CEO of Nissan since mid-November.
