Juve players are fed up with special treatment for Ronaldo

A visit that Cristiano Ronaldo paid this week to the renowned Ferrari factory in Maranello has, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, angered his teammates. They would be done entirely because different rules apply to the Portuguese star than the rest. CR7 then ended up with a new toy of 1.6 million.

Ronaldo skipped training on Monday with the club’s permission and was also involved in a promotional event with Ferrari’s Formula 1 team on the same day. Club chairman Andrea Agnelli was also present, whose family owns the renowned car brand. The trip followed a day after a hopeless 0-3 defeat against rival AC Milan.

Not only was Ronaldo at Maranello for a tour and to have his picture taken with Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, but he also gifted himself a brand new Ferrari Monza SP2. Price tag: 1.6 million euros. The Portuguese was one of the popular attractions and was constantly called upon for photos.

For several of Ronaldo’s teammates, who had to be at the club on Monday, the trip seems to be the last straw. Although there was just a massage on the agenda for the Portuguese, he sent his cat.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the relationship between the five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or and his fellow players has cooled down severely, and the situation is getting worse by the day.

Many players would therefore not regret it if the great star leaves next summer, however important he may be in terms of numbers. With 28 goals, Ronaldo is at the top of the Serie A top scorers list, although he was remarkably invisible in top duels this season.

A return to his old club, Sporting, which Ronaldo’s mother alluded to, is not on the agenda for the time being. “Cristiano is very proud that Sporting has conquered the Portuguese title this season, and he has also made it publicly known, but at the moment, a return to Portugal does not fit into his career plan,” his agent said.

Although Juventus saw the title go to Internazionale after a disaster season, the pressure is still full in the last two rounds of play. The champion of the past nine seasons is only fifth in the Serie A and has to climb at least one place to be allowed to play in the Champions League next season.
