Nicki Minaj is thinking about getting married: “He is my soulmate”

It looks like Nicki Minaj (36) will soon be a married woman. The American rap star has applied for her marriage license, and cannot wait to marry her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, 40. Minaj said that herself during a radio program.

“We have our marriage license,” said a smiling Nicki Minaj on Queen Radio. “I think I finally have what I’ve been looking for, for so long: happiness. It was so hard to find happiness. Now that I’ve finally found it, I don’t want to risk it for anything or anyone.”

Minaj had more sweet things to say about her friend, Kenneth Petty, while answering questions from fans. They wanted to know, among other things, whether he called her Nicki or Onika (her real name, ed.). She answered: “He doesn’t even want to pronounce the word ‘Nicki’. He has been calling me Onika since I was 15, so it’s hard to change that.”

Another listener wanted to know what Kenneth thought of her enthusiastic fans, and then Minaj said,” he’s very wary when you’re so excited around me, because he is afraid that you will hurt me. But when he hears the stories of how some fans think I have helped them stay in school and deal with their identity, he is very touched by that.”

Kenneth and Nicki started a relationship early December 2018 and it soon became serious. At the end of December Kenneth had ‘Onika’ tattooed in his neck – his first tattoo ever. However, the man is not an unspoken magazine.

In April 1995, he was sentenced for attempted rape, for which he was imprisoned for four years. He was later convicted of manslaughter, for which he was in jail for seven years. Nicki Minaj defended her friend on Instagram and said: “He was 15, she was 16… and they had a relationship. But do it, internet, you can’t ruin my life anyway. You can’t even ruin your own life.”
