Rapper Kodak Black has to go to jail for three years
The American rapper Kodak Black has to go to jail. The 22-year-old musician has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for possession of weapons, reports the American media.
Kodak Black was picked up in Miami in May just before he started his performance at the hip-hop festival Rolling Loud. In August, he admitted that he had forged papers so that he could buy four firearms. Several cases are still going on in other states against the rapper.
It is not the first time that Kodak Black, the stage name of Dieuson Octave, has come into contact with justice. For example, in 2016 he had to stay in jail for four months because of drug possession. In 2017 he was stuck for some time because he had violated the conditions of his probationary period.
Kodak Black is best known in his home country, where he had hits such as ‘Tunnel Vision’ and ‘Zeze’. He made that last track together with Travis Scott and Offset.
