Recordings of new ‘Game of Thrones’ series will start in April

Good news for fans of the ‘Game of Thrones’ series. The recordings of the prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ will start in April. HBO itself confirmed this during a panel discussion.

The prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ is a creation of both George RR Martin and Ryan Condal. The latter will take on the role of showrunner together with Miguel Sapochnik.

Sapochnik himself also worked on ‘Game of Thrones’ in the past. Here he was responsible for the direction of several episodes, including ‘The Long Night’.

‘House of the Dragon’ will have a total of ten episodes, and in the series, we will get to know the ancestors of Daenerys Targaryen better.

It is not yet known when the prequel will officially appear on the small screen. However, the recording itself is about to start. HBO confirmed last Wednesday that they want to start spinning in April.
