Trump fan disagrees with Twitter ban but these celebs like it

Kirstie Alley is not pleased with the fact that Twitter has suspended Donald Trump’s account for good. In a series of tweets, the actress, an open fan of the president, goes against the platform. She compares the Twitter ban to slavery and warns against the power of the big tech companies.

All people should be concerned, the actress wrote on Twitter. ‘Ordinary people will no longer have a platform to share their opinion. This is BONDAGE.’ According to the star of the TV series ‘Cheers’, it is about censorship, and companies such as Twitter and Facebook are silencing people.

Her statement immediately met with a storm of criticism, after which Alley was forced to delete her tweet and better explain ‘her’ definition of slavery. “There is the well known one, but the one I refer to a lot is “restricted freedom”… such as the type of slavery in Venezuela.”

In another tweet, the actress, who has openly admitted her support for Trump for years, makes a comparison with the riots surrounding the Black Lives Matter demonstrations. “Remember this? Remember all the fires, killing, terrorizing, destruction, and yes, at FEDERAL buildings?” she writes.

“It was HIDEOUS & ILLEGAL,” Kirstie calls the protesters “criminals” and says no one was banned from social networks at the time. Not even the politicians who supported the violence at the time. “Remember how these criminals got FUNDED & bailed out? NO ONE WAS OUSTED FROM PLATFORMS, including politicos who ENDORSED the VIOLENCE. Remember?”

Incidentally, the 69-year-old actress, known from films such as ‘It Takes Two’ and ‘Look Who’s Talking’, condemns the storming of the Capitol. She calls it a criminal act and hopes the culprits will not escape punishment.

Alley is a lonely critical voice in a sea of joy. Most celebrities are happy that Twitter silenced Trump.

“Why did it take so long?” Tweeted ‘Seinfeld’ actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Avenger Mark Ruffalo, writer Stephen King, ‘Star Wars’, star Mark Hamill, ‘Borat’ actor Sasha Baron Cohen and Bette Middler have already announced that they agree entirely with the decision.
