World 2018: A pig predicts Nigeira to reach semi-final (video)

A pig with “special powers” has chosen the four nations that will reach the semi-finals of the World Cup, and one Africa nation is among them.

Mystic Marcus, a micro-pig originating from Heage, Derbyshire, chose Belgium, Argentina, Nigeria and Uruguay.

The latter was placed in the middle of 32 apples representing the different countries in competition and he ate 28, leaving the 4 others.

Mystic Marcus is renowned for its exact predictions. It had correctly predicted the outcome of the FIFA World Cup 2014, the referendum on Brexit and the election of Donald Trump, said owner Juliette Stevens who considers him a special pig.

“Marcus is the seventh child of a seventh child and apparently they have special powers,” said Juliette Stevens quoted by the BBC.

Mrs. Stevens has about 100 animals on her farm, but Marcus occupies a “special place in his heart.”

“It has a beautiful personality. It is really relaxed and happy,” she said.

In 2010, during the World Cup final in South Africa, an octopus named Paul correctly predicted the winners of eight matches, including the winner, Spain.
