Lil Wayne (36) released his new album ‘Tha Carter V’ today. The American rapper has reportedly finished the record since 2012, but due to several lawsuits the launch was postponed.
Lil Wayne fought those lawsuits with record label Cash Money. In May, an agreement was reached on this by both parties, which would ultimately have generated the rapper some 10 million dollars (or 8.6 million euros).
On ‘Tha Carter V’ there are collaborations with the late XXXTentacion, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Sampha, Snoop Dogg, Ashanti and Lil Waynes daughter Reginae Carter.
