At least 2 killed in protests against Taliban flag

At least two people have been killed in protests against the hanging of the Taliban flag in Jalalabad, one of Afghanistan’s largest cities. Twelve people were injured.

According to the Al Jazeera news agency, “a large proportion” of the inhabitants of Jalalabad opposed the replacement of the national flag of Afghanistan. “It’s about hundreds, if not thousands, of people waving the national flag,” it sounds.

However, things went wrong on an important square in the city. When civilians wanted to replace the Taliban flag, there was a shooting spree. At least two people were killed, and twelve people were injured.
