Brazilian hospital uses oxygen cabins against corona
A hospital in Manaus, Brazil, has found a new technique to treat patients infected with Covid-19. They place a plastic cabin over the infected person, in which fresh air is supplied under pressure.
The technique would work as well as a ventilator, and there is another (big) plus to the technique.
The negative pressure and the fact that no intubation is required with the technique significantly reduces the chance that the patient in question can infect caregivers or other persons.
