Many celebrities express their support of New Zealand’s Christchurch through social media. At least 49 people died in attacks on two mosques.
“My heart breaks for all the families involved, and for the beautiful people of New Zealand to whose hearts this pain will attach, for a long time,” tweeted New Zealand actor Russell Crowe (54).
“We are with you, we see you, and we will fight white supremacy and Islamaphobia until we are all free of fear,” writes Will & Grace actress Debra Messing. Arnold Schwarzenegger also reacted to the attack in astonishment. “My heart goes out to the victims, their families, and the people of New Zealand. This is a horrific act of terror but please know that the world stands with you. I stand with you.”
Colin Hanks, actor, and son of Tom, also reacted briefly: “New Zealand. I’m sorry this happened.” Actress Alyssa Milano wrote, “This breaks my heart.”
