Three people have died from the virus since Cameroon recorded its first case a few weeks ago. The number has risen to 113 as 14 new confirmed cases were reported today.
Confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Cameroon have reached 113 after the country recorded 14 new infections according to the statement from the minister of health.
Manaouda Malachie, the country’s health minister, revealed this on Sunday, saying 14 of the 76 tests were positive. Three people have died of the virus since Cameroon recorded its first case a few weeks ago.
Earlier, the minister of health said Cameroon had 99 confirmed cases and encouraged residents to be vigilant and respect hygiene rules.
“A total of 14 positives out of 76 tested in this series. A total of 113 positive cases to date in our country. Stay with us,” he tweeted.
