Elon Musk and Chechen dictator are fighting their own war: ‘Putin would beat you to shit’
As the war in Ukraine continues, Elon Musk also joins the debate. The tech billionaire challenges Vladimir Putin on Twitter to a hand-to-hand fight, staking Ukraine.
He immediately received an answer from the Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov (45). He says his Russian friend Putin will “beat the effeminate Elona Musk rotten”.
The war on social media started on Monday with Elon Musk. “I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat, stakes are Ukraine,” he wrote on Twitter.
Ramzan Kadyrov, who has ruled Chechnya for more than a decade and is loyal to the Russian president, serves Musk extensively in response to Telegram. The dictator, repeatedly accused of torturing and murdering gays, calls the tech billionaire effeminate.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich will appear unsportsmanlike if he beats you to death” he said. “You will have to build a lot of muscle to transform the (effeminate) Elona into the brash Elon” needed for a duel with Putin.

Triple training in Chechnya
Kadyrov also makes Musk a satirical offer to train in Chechnya. He would learn to use weapons at the ‘Russian Special Forces University’ and to learn how to fight at the ‘Akhmat Fight Club’. At the ‘Chechen state media in Grozny’, Musk can learn how to deal with social media. Kadyrov promises ‘Elona’ that he would return from Chechnya completely differently, namely as ‘Elon’.
Musk posted a screenshot with the translation of Kadyrov’s Telegram post on Twitter.
He also changed his Twitter name to “Elona Musk” and immediately threw some more fuel on the fire. “Thank you for the offer, but such excellent training would give me too much of an advantage,” Musk said. “If he is afraid to fight, I will agree to use only my left hand, and I am not even left-handed.”
Flamethrower
Musk also distributed a photo collage with an (edited) image of Putin riding a bear bare-chested, and of himself with a flamethrower from his company The Boring Company. “Choose your fighter”, reads above the photos.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov himself released a video message on Monday saying he had arrived in Ukraine. He posted a video on Telegram in which he can be seen in military uniform. He sits around a table with soldiers studying plans.
“Last day, we were about 20 kilometers away from you Nazis from Kyiv, and now we are even closer,” Kadyrov says in that video. “Maybe we are already in Kyiv by now and are just waiting for the necessary orders?”
Civil rights activists accuse Kadyrov of arbitrary arrests and human rights violations.
