British golfer Ian Poulter is a great Ferrari enthusiast. He has five, and one of them is a $4.5 million LaFerrari Aperta. To practice his skills, he tries to hit a golf ball through the open windows of the car.
Poulter practiced various tricks around his house during the lockdown. He decided to increase the challenge by opening the windows of his Ferrari and hitting the ball through them. A golf ball may be small, but it is massive, and you have to hit it nicely to make the ball gain height. It is therefore certain that a dent will remain if the projectile hits one of the plate parts of the car.
In the video, you can see Poulter driving behind the wheel of his car, while the song “Know Yourself” by rapper Drake can be heard. Then he opens the door, leaves the car, and walks to the ball. Apparently, without thinking about it, he hits the golf ball hard through the driver’s side window.

The Aperta is the convertible version of the ultimate Ferrari, the LaFerrari. Only 201 units were built, and the car is equipped with a 950 hp 6.2-liter V12 engine, which, combined with a hybrid engine, can reach a top speed of more than 350 kilometers per hour. The two most recently offered Apert as were for sale for prices between 4.5 million and 7 million dollars.
Poulter has a predilection for Ferraris. In 2015, the golfer posted a photo to Twitter showing his collection, which at the time consisted of a Ferrari 288 GTO, an F40, an F50, an Enzo, and a LaFerrari, all in Ferrari red. And all without dents for the time being. At least, that’s what we assume.
