Instead of liquid water, ice is raining in Senegal (Video)

Icicles were raining in Senegal! That is how the weather seems to be in the south of this West African country, in particular. The locals are gathering the ice droplets as seen in the video.

It happened in Casamance, Senegal, in the department of Oussouye. The incident occurred last week, and this hailstorm damaged more than a dozen houses.

Roofs wholly destroyed by these enormous balls of ice.

In the following video, the people, who deplore the fact that their locality has been abandoned, call for help from the authorities so that the damaged houses can be repaired.
