Just out of prison, arrested for murder the same day

Only a few hours out of prison and then again arrested for murder. It happened to 34-year-old Davis James Bohart in Arizona. He is suspected of having stabbed his 49-year-old friend Marika Jones with a knife in her house.

Bohart had just been released from the state prison in Tucson, where he was serving a three-year prison sentence for drug possession. It was not the first time he was stuck. Earlier he received prison sentences for forgery and again possession of drugs.

TPD have arrested 34-year-old David James Bohart with second degree murder of woman on the East side Nov. 21

Anonymous tip

Bohart was arrested when he failed to report to a treatment centre designated by the court. Then the police got an anonymous tip that Marika Jones was killed.

At the woman’s body, the police found Bohart prison documents, reason enough to re-charge the man.
