The ‘Yeezy Christian Academy’ opened its doors last week, Kanye West (43) announced on his social media. “Everything in the school exudes Christianity, and all teachers share the faith,” the rapper says. Kanye’s children, Saint (4) and North (7), is featured in the promotional video for his new school.
That West is a Jesus fan has already been made clear on his social media. Now the rapper takes it a step further and wants to share his faith with children.
“‘Yeezy Christian Academy’ is Kayne’s latest initiative to improve education,” said a press release. Faith, music, communication, collaboration, and creativity are the five pillars that ‘YCA’ stands behind.
Further details, such as the location of the school, remain vague for the time being. There is also no confirmation of whether the school is fully certified.
To promote the new academy, the rapper recruited some children from the Kardashian clan. In addition to Kayne and Kim Kardashian’s two oldest children, Kourtney Kardashian’s son Mason (10) and daughter Penelope Disick (8) can also be seen in the promo video.
Together with some other children, dressed in a blue ‘YCA’ uniform, they shout: “Dear future, I still believe in you!” According to West, that’s the mantra of ‘YCA’.
