At least nine members of the Libyan security services were killed in an attack that is attributed to the IS terrorist movement in Tazirbu, a village 1,500 kilometers southeast of Tripoli. That says a person in charge of the security services, who wants to remain anonymous.
The group attacked a police station in Tazirbu. Eleven people were also abducted, including civilians and a boss of the security services.
Tazirbu is under the control of the forces of supreme commander Khalifa Haftar, the strong man in the east of Libya. He leads the army of the elected government, the General National Congress. It is already the second attack in one month against the troops of Haftar. The attack has not yet been claimed. IS deemed the first attack.
