Famous Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, better known as P-Square’s Rudeboy, has questioned why he and his brothers cannot reconcile as a family despite their separation in the music industry.
The band P-Square, consisting of Paul and Peter Okoye, gained popularity when Paul claimed in an interview that his twin brother had requested an arrest from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter responded to the allegations by denying them in an open letter on social media. He said his goal was to learn the truth about Northside Music, a secret society purportedly run by their older brother, Jude Okoye, and his wife, Ifeoma.
In response, Jude, their elder brother, refuted Peter’s claims in an Instagram Live session on Saturday that he transferred millions of dollars worth of P-Square revenues to a personal account.
But on Monday, August 19, 2024, Rudeboy said on Instagram Live: “Can’t we still be brothers even if we don’t do P-Square? Couldn’t we be brothers even if we can’t play music? Like I said, I’m not in the mood to discuss much. I wasn’t a big talker before. It’s just too horrible.”
The EFCC continues to investigate the situation involving the brothers.
