The celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s 95th birthday is canceled this year due to the corona measures. Every year, the Queen’s birthday is celebrated in June with a special ceremony. The ceremony was also canceled last year.
As the ceremony is called, Trooping the Color takes place every year on the second Saturday of June. The Queen herself will turn 95 on April 21.
‘Trooping the Color’ is celebrated every year, and broadcast live on the BBC. Military troops pay tribute that day to Elizabeth, who then drives through the city in a carriage with her husband, Philip. There is always a lot of audience along the route.
