Security video shows Sri Lanka’s suicide bomber with backpack

Almost two days after the terrorist attack in Sri Lanka, in which around 300 people died, a security video pops up showing one of the suicide bombers.

The man in the security video is wearing a large rucksack and walks into the St. Sebastiaan church in the city of Negombo at the end of the mass. At least 67 churchgoers died in the ensuing explosion.

The Indian TV channel TV9 broadcast the images today. A man who wanted to escape the big crowds, went to another mass and stood face to face with the later suicide bomber, spoke to a “youthful and innocent” looking young thirties earlier today.
