Elon Musk
Musk started 2021 with a net worth of 156 billion dollars. At the end of the ride, he was 121 billion dollars richer. He invests part of his fortune in his space company SpaceX. He previously said that he plans to pay eleven billion dollars in taxes.
Jeff Bezos
Former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is entering the new calendar year with a net worth of $190 billion, which is 4.5 billion dollars more than last year.
Bernard Arnault
The third richest man in the world is Frenchman Bernard Arnault, the CEO of luxury group LVMH, which owns fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton and liquor companies such as cognac brand Hennessy and champagne brand Moët & Chandon. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, increased his net worth in 2021 by 25 billion dollars. According to the billionaires’ index, he was worth 128 billion dollars at the start of the new year.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates started 2022 with a net worth of $139 billion. The fortunes of Larry Page and Sergey Brin, co-founders of Google, passed the $100 billion mark (88 billion euros) in 2021 and were 130 billion and 125 billion dollars at the start of 2021 respectively.
Ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, investor Warren Buffett, and Oracle founder Larry Ellison complete the top ten, with $124 billion, $120 billion, and $109 billion, respectively.
