The US Secretary of State will visit Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal from November 15 to 20, the State Department said Thursday.
Antony Blinken will meet in Nairobi with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, with whom he will discuss cooperation to end the coronavirus pandemic and security issues, it said in a statement.
The Secretary of State will then travel to Abuja to meet with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on international health security, access to energy, and the revitalization of democracy.
Finally, Antony Blinken will go to Dakar to meet Senegalese President Macky Sall to “reaffirm the partnership between our two countries,” the statement said.
