Do you catch yourself increasingly sharing your parents’ outlook on life? That probably has something to do with your age, research shows that at this age women begin to resemble their mothers
Women begin to look like their mothers when they reach the age of 33, new research shows. Men then change back into their father from the moment they turn 34.
According to the study, daughters are preprogrammed to adopt the same vision and taste as their mother in the first few years after the birth of their first child.
The research, conducted with more than 2,000 men and women, shows that women stop rebelling against their mothers on average at the age of 33, and instead consciously adapt their life vision.
According to researcher Julian De Silva, we all change into our mother or father at some point in our lives. “And that is something that we must celebrate. A child’s own aging is often the trigger, but other factors naturally also play a role.”
“We also begin to look physically more and more like our parents as we get older. This is also an additional reason why we start to behave like them,” concludes De Silva.
