YouTuber has to go in for insulting Moroccan king

A Moroccan YouTuber was today sentenced to four years in prison for insulting the Moroccan king in a video. Mohamed Sekkaki, known as Moul Kaskita, said that King Mohammed VI’s speeches “lead nowhere”.

In addition, Sekkaki called Moroccans “donkeys” and “ignorant”, who do “political customer in loyalty and nepotism”. Sekkaki, whose videos are often viewed more than 100,000 times, was arrested soon after the video was posted this month.

Sekkaki’s lawyer has announced that his client will appeal.
