Mathew Rosengart (58), Britney Spears’ new lawyer, is known for his aggressive approach and the singer’s counsel immediately lives up to his reputation. On Monday, Rosengart told the American media that he wants to remove Jamie Spears (69) from his position as soon as possible.
“First of all, I would like to thank Britney for all her courage and strength,” said Mathew Rosengart in a video message currently circulating on Twitter. “In addition, I would like to thank Judge Penny for giving my law firm and I the opportunity to take on this case. And I also want to thank the fans and supporters of Britney Spears. The support we have received from you over the past few days has been truly overwhelming.”

Mathew Rosengart also had one last message. “The last thing I’m going to say on this matter is what I also said in court last week: I am currently working with my law firm to remove Jamie from his position as soon as possible unless he resigns himself.”
The news that Britney Spears has a new lawyer was announced last Wednesday. After the dismissal of her former lawyer Sam Ingham (80), judge Brenda Penny ruled that the singer can now choose her own counsel. Britney made it clear in her emotional testimony on June 23 that she was disappointed in Ingham after he failed to inform her correctly.
