Death toll of attack in Kabul rises to 43
An attack on a government complex in Kabul has claimed at least 43 deaths yesterday, making it one of the deadliest in the Afghan capital since the beginning of this year. That is what the Ministry of Health says. During the attack, armed men took hours to rage.
Ten people were also injured. The target was a complex where the Ministries of Public Works and Social Affairs are housed, says spokesperson for the Waheed Majroh Health Ministry.
Although it is not yet official, the United States announced last week that 7,000 of the 14,000 American soldiers in Afghanistan would be withdrawn. A Taliban leader was already excited about the news.
