DRC: Young woman dies after being beaten by her husband in Kinshasa

A 31-year-old woman died after being savagely beaten by her husband for unknown reasons.

The young woman named Linda Katina, according to reporters said she just married recently with her husband.

The circumstances of the tragedy are currently unknown, but everything suggests that conjugal violence erupted that took the life of the young lady.

In sub-Saharan Africa, over 40% of women are victims of domestic violence, 65% of them in Central Africa.
