Eighteen dead in collision between army truck and minibus in Ethiopia
In the collision between an army truck and a minibus, eighteen people were killed in Ethiopia this morning. All victims are citizens, report local media. In the incident in the northern state of Amhara there were also an unknown number of wounded.
Every year, many road accidents occur in Ethiopia, mainly due to the poor condition of the roads, poor vehicle maintenance and impunity. Between July 2017 and July 2018, no less than 4,500 people were killed in traffic.
