Filipino squeezes herself into 2.5 kilos of clothes to save extra costs on luggage
What to do if your hand luggage weighs nine kilos, but has to pay an extra seven kilos or more? Then just sit on the plane with some extra clothes. Gel Rodriguez added the word and showed off the funny result on her Facebook profile.
“Two kilos too much? No problem, I thought,” said the Filipino. And so she squeezed herself into five T-shirts, three pants and three jackets. The result: her suitcase only weighed 6.5 kilos. So actually five hundred grams too much saved.
“But in retrospect, I am not going to do this anymore. It was really hot,” said Gel.
Her photo was good for more than 33,000 likes and was shared more than 20,000 times. “If I had known that it would be such a success, I would have posed better,” she joked.
Of course, Gel is by no means the first to try this trick, but some still react surprised. “Why didn’t I think about that? At that time I was so stupid to throw some of my things in the trash,” it sounds, among other things.
