Homeless (22) shot dead in police action in Germany
The Lubeck parquet has started an investigation into a shooting incident in the northern German city of Bad Oldesloe. A policeman shot a homeless young man (22) yesterday.
The policeman who shot the homeless person cannot yet be questioned. “He is in shock,” said a police spokesman. The police said the 22-year-old homeless man died on the spot. Beside him a knife with a cutting blade of 18 centimetres was found.
The police had received a call yesterday around 11 am. In that call, a man with a knife who stopped in the vicinity of the pools of Bad Oldesloe was mentioned. When the police arrived with three patrol cars, they saw a man 300 meters away from the swimming pools. The action ended with the fatal shot that was fired.
