When it comes to gift-giving, Kim Kardashian (40) undoubtedly takes the cake. For example, the reality star treated her former assistant Stephanie Shepherd to a handbag from designer label Hermès, with a price tag of no less than 25,000 dollars. There were a lot of (joy) tears involved.

The reality star treated her friend and ex-assistant Stephanie Shepherd to a special surprise for her 32nd birthday: a so-called Kelly bag from Hermès, one of the most exclusive handbags in the world.

Stephanie thanked Kardashian for the very expensive gift via Instagram Stories and also shared a video showing her opening the designer gift in tears: “Oh and this just happened” she proudly captioned the images.

The handbag had a hefty price tag: 25,000 dollars. “This is so crazy,” she continued on her social media. Kim started to laugh heartily: “Don’t cry! Don’t cry,” she joked, referring to the tears that could fall on the handbag and cause damage.

Shepherd initially planned to buy a fake handbag from Hermès for her birthday, she admitted. The former assistant is now ecstatic: “Your loyalty and generosity to friends and family cannot be matched”, she thanks her former employer on Instagram.
