Man asks girlfriend to marry him but first has whole month of fun without her noticing

A British man has shared funny images on social media of how he asked his girlfriend to marry him. Or slightly from the run-up to it. Because before he went on one knee, he decided to have some fun. For a month he always pulled out the ring when she was around, without even noticing anything.

Edi Okoro (30) discloses on social media that he was waiting “at the right time.” He carried the ring with him, but instead of asking Cally Reed (28) if she wanted to marry him, he took the ring out every time she was around, and she didn’t see it.

He made images of its time and again. The result: a series of photos and videos of Edi with his ring, while his girlfriend is looking for something in the cupboard, brushing her teeth, sleeping or looking for a road on a map.

“Those who have gone through this (and those who will soon find out) you want to propose in a way that speaks to you as a person and couple,” he says on Facebook. “Some plan a flash mob, a fancy meal, or even arrange a marry me sign. I couldn’t do this because “Edi doesn’t plan” I’m a spontaneous improviser!”

His girlfriend also knows that, according to the young man. And planning a dinner or outing would immediately have aroused her suspicion. “Because of this I took the ring with me everywhere hoping the “moment” would arise in line with my spontaneous style,” it sounds.

After a month, it almost went wrong. Edi was admiring the ring in the seat at one point and nearly caught by Cally. “All these missed opportunities mixed in with the thought – Cally doesn’t know I have the ring!! I should just start documenting these moments!”

He then took photos of Cally with the ring for a month, without her knowing it. “The idea was to take as many photos, in more daring scenarios, until I found the perfect moment to propose, or until I got caught, at which point I would propose,” it sounds.

Ring

How he finally did it, he did not (yet) explain. But in the meantime, the two are engaged and without being caught. On Facebook, the man shared a selfie with his future bride; everyone can see the ring around her finger. “We took this photo not long after she said YES,” it sounds.

The images were posted a week ago and had liked and shared tens of thousands of times. Many Facebook users also tag someone in the comments. A clear hint to all those other spontaneous characters.
