A man jumped into the water with no less than 68,000 euros in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. According to the police, he did this because he couldn’t explain to the agents why he had so much money with him.
After the man on the Prins Hendrikkade was taken out of the water and was arrested, many bank notes had to be dried.
A photo of a desk in Rotterdam shows that rows of 50 euro notes are drying nicely on the floor. It is not yet clear why the man was walking around with a considerable sum of cash.
