The Urban Municipality of Sidi Bennour mistakenly paid 2.5 million dirhams into the account of a company whose owner refuses to return the sum.
A Moroccan businessman discovered in his company’s bank account, 2.5 million dirhams (about 680,650.00 United States Dollar), which had been paid there by mistake, but does not intend to return the sum in question, report the local newspaper Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
According to its reports, it is the Urban Municipality of Sidi Bennour, which made this payment, supposed to reimburse the financial guarantees deposited by another company following the contract’s cancellation.
