Affectionate Cat clambered and lay down on his face

A man who kept dreaming at night that he couldn’t breathe has discovered by chance how that happened. His affectionate Cat clambered and lay down on his face

Lomphonten Lomphontan from Thailand installed a camera in his house to keep an eye on his cat when he was out of work and when he had turned it on his bed one night, it became clear exactly what was going on. When he looked at the images, Lomphonten saw how his affectionate cat Achi was watching him until he fell asleep.

Then the animal clambered on his chest and after checking with a paw that his owner was indeed asleep, he lay down on his face.

“I thought it was pretty funny when I saw it,” the man told the news site The Dodo. “I actually think it’s super cute that he likes me so much.”

The great images date back to e arlier this year, but they didn’t go viral until someone posted them on Twitter on Monday. More than 370,000 people have shared the photo. Most of them think it’s hilarious: “Your cat is trying to kill you”, it sound’s like it. And, “this is cute and scary at the same time.”

The comments also show that it is quite a recognizable situation. “My cat used to do that to me,” someone says. “I discovered what was going on when I once was awakened by a dream in which I suffocated and noticed that it was completely stretched out on my face.”

And someone else says: “I already woke up in the middle of the night while my cat stood nose to nose with me and stared straight into my eyes.”
