At –15˚C, Russian mother leaves children naked in the woods

In Russia, a mother left her three children naked in a forest in freezing temperatures. The 33-year-old woman wanted to kill the children in the capital Moscow on Friday evening, investigators said.

A local resident found the minors completely frozen at a temperature of about –1 5˚C and notified the police. The children were taken to the hospital. One of them is in critical condition, according to the Ria Novosti news agency.

The mother was taken to a hospital to check on her state of mind. The court opened an investigation for attempted murder.
