Barely some days after Christmas, Easter eggs are in the racks
Does your Christmas tree still sparkle at home? Chances are, since it has not even been New Year. Some British retail chains, however, are resolutely looking ahead and are already putting Easter eggs on the shelves.
A few surprised Brits share photos on social media of the Easter chocolate, although that party is still 16 weeks away. The photos come from stores of the chains Tesco, Marks & Spencer and Co-op. The latter company defends the decision in a reaction to a ‘Mr Grumpy’. “From experience we know that some customers want to buy them early, and we think it’s right to give those customers the choice.”
The chain assures the customers that the Easter eggs will also be available when Easter comes closer.
