Here’s why you should never leave charger plugged in when not in use
A Russian expert advises not to leave your charger plugged into an outlet when it is not connected to an electrical appliance. This could cause a fire to start.
It is not advisable to leave a charger plugged into an electrical outlet when it is not in use because it can damage the device or even cause a fire, computer expert Prime Stanislav Kossarev told the news agency.
It is also not recommended to leave it connected during a storm or when a strong wind is blowing, as these natural phenomena can cause voltage surges in the electrical system.
Avoid overloading
Also, do not let the phone charge frequently as background applications and charging, which remain active, lead to its rapid deterioration.
The expert also warns that chargers should be kept out of the reach of children and pets as they may try to eat them.
