Johnny Depp (57) does not give up. Although he lost his lawsuit against The Sun, the American actor is now fully focused on his lawsuit against his ex, Amber Heard (34). She accuses him of domestic violence. But thanks to never-before-seen police images, Depp believes she can prove that she is lying.
Amber Heard accuses Johnny of smashing their apartment to pieces in May 2016. He would also have thrown a phone at her during the incident. Amber’s friends called the police after she cried at their place. Less than two hours after the call, two officers came by to investigate the Los Angeles apartment in question.
On never-before-seen video images, taken by their body cams, the apartment appears to be neat. There are no broken candlesticks, broken glass on the floor, or red wine stains on the walls and carpet. “Is everything okay here?” Asks one of the inspectors. “We just want to check if everyone is okay.”
Their investigation did not provide any evidence for Heard’s allegations. No traces of violence or material damage were found. “That proves Johnny Depp’s innocence,” said his lawyer Adam Waldman.
“These police images show that the incident in May 2016 never took place. It was yet another grandiose lie from Amber and her friends.” According to Waldman, the agents, Tyler Hadden and Melissa Saenz, would also be willing to testify about what they may or may not have seen that night.
“I didn’t see her as a victim of domestic violence,” Saenz told Heard’s lawyer earlier this week. “Her husband was not at home when we arrived. Said refused to cooperate and would not give us any information about what happened. We also received confirmation that everyone was okay, no one had any injuries.”
For Depp, a lot depends on the case against his ex-wife. Since he did not win the lawsuit against the British newspaper The Sun, the judge has admitted between the lines that Johnny can be called ‘a woman swatter’.
A label that has already cost him several major film roles. For example, he was fired from the Harry Potter franchise ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’, and he is also no longer allowed to play the iconic role of Jack Sparrow in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.
