Tanzania parliament ban false nails, eyelashes, short dress in parliament
Tanzanian parliamentarians are asked not to enter the precincts of Parliament with false nails, false eyelashes and short dresses and jeans.
False nails and false eyelashes are no longer authorities in the Tanzanian Parliament as well for parliamentarians as visitors.
The president of the institution, Job Ndugai, officially informed his colleagues and the public.
The ban was imposed after Assistant Health Minister Faustine Ndugulile expressed concerns about the dangers of false nails and false eyelashes on health.
The parliamentarians also banned the wearing of short dresses and jeans within the institution said Job Ndugai.
