Tokyo Olympic: IOC only admits people who have an ‘essential’ role
The International Olympic Committee IOC will only admit people who have an ‘essential and operational’ role at the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer.
The number of accreditations will therefore be considerably less than usual in connection with the corona pandemic. Earlier it was announced that the organization in Japan is banning foreign spectators from the event.
What the measures will look like in concrete terms is not yet entirely clear. It is clear that they also apply to the Paralympics, which will be held later.
