20-year-old Nigerian footballer Calvin Odenigbo drowned in a lake

Vitebsk striker Calvin Odenigbo drowned in Lake Beloe near the village of Novoselki, Vitebsk region. The athlete was 20 years old.

According to the reported by the portal Tribuna, the 20-year-old Calvin Odenigbo, Nigeria, has played four major league games this season and made one assist. The Nigerian forward moved to Vitebsk this year on loan from NAF Rockets.

NAF Rockets is a team from the second division of the Nigerian Championship, which the country’s Air Force sponsors. The club includes both civilian and military personnel.
