Non-compliance with established standards

You may worry about not meeting established standards. But if you think about it, who is generally capable of dictating how you look, who to work with, and what decisions to make. What other people expect from you: parents, girlfriend, friends, or society in general – these are only their expectations, which have nothing to do with you.

You should not change for the sake of someone else; you should not act as you are told; you should not become a source of pride for anyone. You have your own life, and you must live it in such a way as to remain content.

Bad attitude of others

You may often think that others treat you unfairly. Such thoughts may be prompted by strange behavior, bad mood, critical comments, remarks, etc. But you have to understand a few important things: you do not always become the cause of someone’s upset and are not responsible for the feelings of others.

In addition, you are not always objective in assessing someone else’s behavior: when a person reprimands you, gives you negative feedback, or builds communication with you differently from the way you are used to, this does not mean that they treat you badly.

Lack of pleasure in everyday life

Communication in instant messengers and phone calls can never replace real live communication for you. So stop feeling sorry for yourself, worrying about feeling lonely, and spending most of your time at home. Get out of the apartment, chat, meet new people – this is a great alternative, if you are alone in an unfamiliar city, visit your family and old friends.

Identical everyday life

If your everyday life is similar to one another, this is not a problem, but your unwillingness to add at least some variety to everyday life. Think about how your day is going: if you can describe it in a humble home/work/home scheme, it is quite understandable why you feel bored.

It would help if you started making at least some adjustments: change your usual route, plan your free time, meet with friends during off-hours, find a hobby, go in for sports. Do at least something so that your life sparkles with new colors; otherwise, you will continue to take a wait-and-see attitude, but nothing will change over time.

You often think about quitting your hated job, but you don’t do it because you think it’s impossible to make money on what you love. This is another problem you invented. If you try to understand the reasons for such thoughts, most likely, it turns out that you do not know how to monetize your hobby and are afraid that it will not satisfy your financial needs.

Feeling like life is wasted

You may feel like your life is being wasted. But if you are ready to change something, this feeling is not a problem but just a signal for action. Analyze what is wrong with your life and decide what you can do to change it for the better. This is the only way you can get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and lack of a future.

Well, an even more reasonable option is to think about what you have already achieved in life.
