How to keep your healthy ego from turning into pride

A healthy ego and pride begin to mix when a person gets a high position, which implies the presence of subordinates. No matter how you look at this position, you find yourself above many others. It’s intoxicating. The effect increases in proportion to how long a person remains in power.
