American truck driver survives a bizarre accident
Although the object hit the man on the head, he survived the bizarre accident. A truck driver in upstate New York got away particularly well last week when a large piece of metal pierced his windshield.
The man was driving on the highway near DeWitt near Syracuse’s city when a large elongated piece of metal suddenly flew through the windshield on the driver’s side.
Although the photos look terrifying, the man managed to get his truck safely to the side of the road. When the security forces arrived, the man was conscious, the nearby East Syracuse village’s fire department said. He was immediately taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident. According to the driver, just before the crash, a large truck with a trailer full of scrap cars was driving in front of him.
