With a sign on which she spread her request, a woman desperately seeks a husband in the streets of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. “I am looking for a husband between 20 and 70 years old,” the sign read.
Have men become a very rare commodity in Tanzania? That’s what one might understand from the exit of a woman who walks the streets of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in her wedding dress, looking for a man who agrees to marry her.
She assures her future husband that she will pay the dowry and take care of herself. All she wants is a husband to experience great love.
“I even have the rings with me. I will pay the dowry and even buy the suit for the man who declares himself… I am a Christian, but I have no qualms about converting to Islam as long as the man is respectful and God-fearing,” said the woman dressed in a wedding dress, which she bought herself at US$1,289.76. “A husband aged between 20 and 70 years,” she said.
The woman, who confided that she is the one to take care of the dowry for her marriage to her man, said she had never had a s^xual relationship.
Saying she was financially comfortable, she insisted that she was simply looking for a man with whom she will live the perfect love. “I have money, I don’t want to stress a man,” she told a Tanzanian YouTuber.
On Wednesday, September 15, she was on her fourth day of desperately searching for the man of her life on the streets of Dar es Salaam.
However, she does not rule out relocating to other Tanzanian cities, her search for the man of her life, but she says: “I have met many men who want to meet me in hotels, but I have rebuked them, because they are not serious. They are motivated by something else,” she said.
